A certain French “want-to-be” celebrity is doing his best to steal the thunder from the worlds most favourite friend.
Flat Eric was the hero of many a Levis 501 commercial and then spent a lot of his time with many different people all over the world.

Now a certain cheeky ex football player named Eric Cantona, cutting his teeth at the silver screen, has released (controversially I might add!) a film he titles “Looking for Eric”.  It raises questions as to whether the film was originally inspired by the little, fluffy, yellow, puppet.

Eric Cantona’s new film is about searching into ones self for the answers to life’s questions, something that both Eric’s mentioned here have done throughout their lives.

Despite the controversial choice of film title, our friend Flat Eric has said “Eric has always been a good man at heart, even if what he is remembered for by some was bad at the time.  The vast majority of what Eric has been good and even those things that you might question about him from his past, were really done for admirable reasons. I’m sure he didn’t try to launch his film off of my own fame, but if he did, well, good luck to him!”

The film opens in the UK on July 12th and will be on illegal download from pirate bay probably around the same time.
